Seven-year-old Sylvie Harnois lives a lonely life as a child in foster care. Then one day a substitute teacher at her school gives her a strange book with a key attached to it. With it she enters the land of Genoma where she first meets Mr. H.M. Wogglebug T.E. who is a highly magnified insect and has just been thoroughly educated. He is polite, kind, and friendly and Sylvie makes fast friends with him. Then on learning she is lost in this new world he vows to help her return to her own. He brings her to the castle where King Ethano and Queen Lexia send them on a quest to rescue the Enchanted Forest from a menacing villain named Antibo, a demented gnomic wizard who wants to change the laws of nature with his new world order of magic which will only do harm to the forest and the residents of it. Mr. Wogglebug together with little Sylvie must somehow convince all of the dwellers of the Enchanted Forest, including the elves and pixies, to unite and overthrow Antibo from his power. At the same time, Mr. Wogglebug must also demonstrate his own intellectual prowess to win the respect of all of them by applying the Seven Living Values of Intelligence. Which are honesty, courtesy, kindness, loyalty, courage, perseverance, and humility. None of them he believes should be hard for him to accomplish being thoroughly educated, should they?
A fun-filled, charming animated fantasy film that is sure to delight children and teach them positive moral values. Includes a commentary track by Mr. Wogglebug himself, only available on DVD.

I loved this movie and watched it while I was tying up some loose ends in my favorite video game! great work wogglebug team, I cannot wait for the next installment !!!
Me and my buddy sat down to watch this a week ago, I've always had a love for homegrown stuff. I really like the
obvious passion behind this movie and character, here's hoping to see more wogglebug in the future!
I was looking for a great family film and got an instant classic. The songs are entrancing. The characters are relatable and inspiring (especially Mr. HM Wogglebug TE himself, I live for his big smile). The story is dizzyingly competent. Even the sound design will keep you on the edge of your seat. The whole family loved it!
Sylvie and the Wogglebug is a wonderful movie for kids of all ages. It has great characters, good values, and a rich
world. It has charming animation that is sure to delight kids and adults alike. The voice acting fits each character well and brings out their personalities. Overall, a great movie that everyone can enjoy.
