Mr. Wogglebug decided not to tell Dr. Stein anything for he felt he shouldn't trust him. And he also felt he should try to distract him in some way so as to make it easiest to get to the unicorn.

He thought about how to do this as Dr. Stein showed him the transportation unit and explained about how it worked to him. "You just step inside and press a button and go where you need to go," he said.

"Thank you," said Mr. Wogglebug. "Now before I leave I'd like to tell that Count Karloff had sent me to get you. He needs you and Frankie's assistance right away."

"He does? What for?" asked Dr. Stein.

"I don't know," said Mr. Wogglebug. "But he said only a true super genius like yourself could help him with what he needs now."

"Well, when you put it that way, you're right," said Dr. Stein beaming. "I will be happy to help the Count with anything. Come on, Frankie."

Mr. Wogglebug watched as Dr. Stein and Frankie took the stairs and left the room. He marveled at his own cleverness for a moment in how easily it had been to distract that genius. "I guess it takes one to know one," he thought to himself.

Then he quickly went up to the cage the unicorn was in and took hold of the large brass key that was on a chain around the lock. He opened the cage door and set the unicorn free which nuzzled against him in its show of gratitude.

"You are very welcome," he said. "Now come on. We must get you back to Daggy."

He led the unicorn to the transportation unit and they both entered. Mr. Wogglebug pushed a button and the doors closed.
